{"id":1219,"date":"2023-08-08T14:05:40","date_gmt":"2023-08-08T06:05:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/airy.cn\/WordPress\/?p=1219"},"modified":"2023-08-31T10:07:31","modified_gmt":"2023-08-31T02:07:31","slug":"sense-switch-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/airy.cn\/WordPress\/?p=1219","title":{"rendered":"LS-DYNA Sense switch control"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LS-DYNA has five terminal sense switch controls to determine the status of an in progress LS-DYNA simulation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To accomplish a sense switch, first type a ^C .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dynasupport.com\/tutorial\/ls-dyna-users-guide\/resolveuid\/c004e0e03bc02b8a3b63b3557b40cf0b\" alt=\"1301\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Remarks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On UNIX systems the sense switches can still be used if the job is running in the background or in batch mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To interrupt LS-DYNA simply type&nbsp;<em>kill -2 psid<\/em>&nbsp;. LS-DYNA will first look for a file called switch which should contain the sense switch. Otherwise, an&nbsp;<em>sw2<\/em>. is assumed and the output is sent to standard out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every 100 cycles LS-DYNA checks for a file name&nbsp;<em>d3kil<\/em>&nbsp;(may be renamed by&nbsp;<em>k=..<\/em>&nbsp;in the execution line). This file may contain:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>one of sense switches&nbsp;<em>sw1.<\/em>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<em>sw4.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the word&nbsp;<em>file<\/em>&nbsp;, which causes LS-DYNA to write the&nbsp;<em>sw2.<\/em>&nbsp;information into a file status.out and execution is continued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After this check the existing kill-file is deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plotting is terminated in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>command&nbsp;<em>end<\/em>&nbsp;, or&nbsp;<em>t<\/em>&nbsp;will release the screen and plot data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>q<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>exe<\/em>&nbsp;will save the plot data and keep the display active.
